Here at TCP, recycling and reprocessing plastics has never been about following a cookie-cutter model! We receive all kinds of requests from suppliers and customers to help them with challenging projects, and we strive to meet that challenge! We have:
- worked with the auto interior manufacturer sector to help create a closed-loop program for the scrap plastics, diverting thousands of pounds of cut-offs from landfill
- accepted and processed 1-ton pipe in 10’ sections and been able to grind these in our state-of-the-art shredder
- reprocessed everything from rubber boots to egg trays, pails and irrigation hose to medical tubing, and the list goes on!
We are excited to work with companies that strive to think green, and it’s a win-win for everyone – companies can divert their scrap materials to be recycled, and save disposal costs at the same time!
Being knowledgeable on current industry standards, and educating ourselves on the current market trends and challenges are key reasons that we participate in conferences held throughout North America.
These events allow an opportunity to source new suppliers, expand our network of contacts, and stay informed on technological advances and policy changes in the plastic manufacturing and recycling sectors.
We also gain a better understanding of how government regulations, material demand and supply, and public education impact our ability and success in the industry.
